Common Conditions Service

For the treatment of Common Conditions

What is the Common Conditions Service?

The Common Conditions Service allows trained community pharmacists to assess, advise on, and treat eight specified minor health conditions. It gives people faster access to trusted healthcare by enabling pharmacists to provide consultations and, where appropriate, prescribe treatments for these conditions. The service follows national clinical guidance and is delivered in a private, confidential consultation area, helping reduce pressure on GP and hospital services while ensuring safe, high‑quality care.
