Prescriptions

We dispense prescriptions under all the state schemes; medical card, private, drug payment scheme, long term illness scheme, health amendment scheme, high tech scheme etc.

Our pharmacists are highly trained healthcare professionals who take pride in providing a high standard of care and service to each and every customer. We undergo constant on-going professional development and training to ensure that you get the best and most up-to-date advice on your healthcare needs. Our pharmacists are available to speak with you at any time, without appointment, to discuss any queries you may have. We have a private consultation room for your use.

If you, or a member of your family, require tablets to be blister packed or filled in a weekly pill box, come in and talk to us.

We can offer information and advice about treatments, we can also organise a medicine use review whereby you can bring in all your medication and we will explain each medicine to you. If you need a printout for your MED 1 form or want to know what it is about, come in and ask.

Family Healthcare

We offer you on-going advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, in particular we are trained to provide advice on smoking cessation, weight loss, nutrition and childcare development.

If you have long term health issues, e.g diabetes, asthma, or smoking, let us help you.

We can provide you convenient local access to quality healthcare services. Ask for the pharmacist in person and feel free to use our private consultation room.

A registered chiropodist/podiatrist visits Callan’s Pharmacy once a month. For appointment, please call pharmacy.

Photographic Services

Digital photo developing on site. We print 4x6, 5x7 & 8x10 size images, also we can print off smaller sizes (old pictures). We can remove red eye, eliminate creases from old photos, or use your favourite photos to make customized key rings and fridge magnet.

We can develop photos from your camera card, from your phone (bluetooth), from a disc, or by email - come in and collect your photos at a time that suits you.

Passport photos take just five minutes. We can provide passport photos as required for Irish or American passports, college ID’s, Taxi regulation ID etc.

Photos to canvas: we can order a canvas print of your favourite photo in a range of sizes. Call in and see sample canvases.
